Provincial was one of the first, and remains one of the only licensed recycling facilities in the Niagara Region. In the 1980’s, we identified future issues with the disposal of concrete and asphalt from our municipal reconstruction projects on the horizon. As such, in 1989, we purchased and began construction of our 20 acre Thorold Townline Road facility. To date, this location has processed over a million tonnes that would have been landfilled prior to the advent of aggregate recycling. We process asphalt, concrete curb/sidewalks and demolition rubble to quality; Granular “A”, 1/2” RAP, 2-4” RAPTECH; and with our recent launch of The Landscape Depot, septic sand, engineered fill, and premium quality topsoil blends have been added to our product offerings.
